As a professional drummer himself he is well qualified to teach you, whether you are an experienced drummer but need to cure some bad habits, have been playing for a bit and want to develop, or are a complete newcomer. He is experienced in a number of musical genres so whatever your particular interest, Mark can help you become a better drummer I found Mark to be knowledgeable, patient and really keen that his students get the most out of their music, whether playing just as a hobby, or looking to do some more serious work. If they just want to do fun he will source the music to play your favourite song, or tutor you to take the graded exams. I did lessons with mark since primary school and all through high school and my only reason for stopping was because I couldn’t find time with college work and my job. He was great all the way through, from teaching me the basics of drumming, teaching me how to read music, helping me learn to play songs, explaining the process of recording and getting me several RockSchool grades. He’s not just a good teacher but a very nice guy. Very highly recommend whether you’re just looking to play for fun and learn songs or get grades . 10/10.
